Last month, we celebrated the success of 4 current Upper Sixth pupils plus that of a recent Old Waynflete at the Bluewave Taekwondo Championships – one of the largest competitions in the country with almost 500 competitors from 45 clubs.
Shilang, Rose, James, Katharina (all Upper Sixth) and Vasco (OW 2021), amassed a total of 6 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals between them, helping their Phoenix Taekwondo club to the 3rd place overall in the team trophy.
