County Tournament
The 1st XI finished top of their group having beaten Bloxham, OHS and drawn with Headington. They qualified through to the semi-finals where they beat St Edward’s on penalty strokes. A close final v Headington also finished with the game heading to strokes. MCS unfortunately missed out in sudden death to finish second overall.

County Tournament
In challenging conditions, the 1st VII entered the county tournament this weekend. Wins over Bloxham, Cokethorpe, Headington and a draw v SHSK saw the team progress through to the semi-finals. They beat the Oxford Academy, which saw them qualify for the final and a rematch v SHSK. The game ended in a draw in normal time, which saw a 4 minute extra time played. SHSK won extra-time by just a single goal, 18-17, with MCS finishing second. This means the team qualifies for the regional tournament, which is only the second time the school has reached this stage.
