2nd XI County Tournament
With great strength and depth in the girls hockey squads this year, MCS entered two teams into the 2nd XI County tournament. The 2As beat OHS and Cokethorpe to secure second place behind an all-dominant St Edward’s team. The 2Bs fought hard and were delighted to score a goal courtesy of Grace. With the first and third teams playing later in the day, it was great to have almost 60 girls representing MCS in hockey in one day.

3rd XI lost 3-1
Indoor South Qualifying Round
The 1st team played the regional qualifier, but faced tough opposition. They lost to a very strong Peter Symonds side before narrow defeats to KES Southampton and RGS Guildford. Despite the disappointment on the day, the team has played well to finish in the top 16 in the South.
