MCS is proud to be hosting an extraordinary panel event next week chaired by Old Waynflete Jim Hawker (OW 1992). It is set to look at the power of mentoring as a driver for social mobility, inclusivity, and personal and professional development.
Mentoring has become more important than ever in helping tackle some of the biggest challenges that individuals and companies currently face.
In our interactive session on Thursday 19 November, six dynamic entrepreneurs will explore how mentoring is helping individuals and organisations succeed in light of social mobility, youth unemployment, and racial, gender and diversity challenges. Our experts will also be providing practical and actionable insights about how to become involved in mentoring schemes.
We are delighted to hold this session as part of MCS’s diversity and inclusion commitments.
Our inspiring panel members each have a passion for mentoring as a means of supporting personal and professional development, social mobility, and inclusion. Read more about their journeys here. These dynamic entrepreneurs will explore how mentoring helps individuals and organisations succeed in light of social mobility, youth unemployment, and racial, gender and diversity challenges – and provide actionable insights about how to become involved in mentoring schemes.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome, no connection to MCS is required.
Do get in touch if you are interested either in mentoring someone, or being mentored yourself after this event.
Take inspiration from OWs Ian Crammond (1968) and Jim Hawker (1992) who met at an OW event and formed a mutually beneficial mentor-mentee relationship for many years.
We hope to see many of you there!
