Earlier this term, the Schools Challenge Quiz Team made up of Julius, Matthew, Fin and Arthur – who had already taken the London and Home Counties Regional title – took part in the National Finals at Warwick School.
An early victory over Warwick (760-470) saw them through to the semi-finals, where they beat Lancaster Royal Grammar in a nail biting match (710-690).
Sadly, overall victory was not to be theirs, as they lost to a strong Perse side in the final, making them the National Runners-Up – for which – massive congratulations!
