On Monday 11 February, at lunch, the MCS Charity Committee ran the inaugural House Bake-Off, judged by pupils and chief judge, the Master.
Wilkinson House won – MCS’s top baker is Maya (U6), closely followed by Davina Kourdi for Leicester and Orlando Riviere for Maltby. Glorious to behold, and popular with lower school students as well as the Master, Wilkinson’s cake was especially praised for the quality of its sponge. Over £50 was raised for the school’s elected charities: International Justice Mission and Thames Valley Air Ambulance Service.
