In founding Magdalen College School in 1480, William Waynflete was determined that others of ability should be able to learn, to flourish, and to serve as he had.
MCS continues to celebrate a host of pupil achievements both academically and co-curricular, the fruits of which have been recognised by the school ranking seventh nationally in The Times Parent Power survey.
Our modern roots as Oxford’s grammar school have kept us true to Waynflete’s ideals. But MCS could not be the school it is without the generosity of its supporters.
Contributions from OWs, parents, and Friends make a big difference to MCS, both in assisting where there is an immediate need and securing the school’s future. Donations support bursaries, buildings, and activities that enrich the educational experience of our pupils.
