The Waynflete Office has been informed of the death of Peter Sibley at the age of 89. We send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
Peter attended MCS from 1946-1954 and was Head of School. He was a keen rugby and cricket player. After leaving MCS, he went onto Magdalen College, playing Blues rugby before going on to play and captain at Bath Rugby.
He spent much of his working life at Monkton Combe School as Head of History, whilst also leading the school’s cricket club.
