The Waynflete Office has been informed of the death of OW John Martin who was also a former MCS Governor.
At MCS he was a prefect and keen rugby player. He was school Captain of Cricket and went on to play professionally for Somerset travelling to South Africa with the MCC.
John was Deputy Head of Wellington College until 2002.
