Edmund (Lower Sixth) continues his progress after an outstanding result in the Justin Rose Junior Telegraph Final at Walton Health Golf Club. A fourth-place finish, competing against the best junior golfers, at one of the most prestigious golf events has given Edmund the confidence to take his game to the next level.
The 2022 season has already consisted of many highs with many more to follow. A 3-day tournament at Brocket Hall, in the Faldo Series, resulted in another exceptional fourth-placed finish. This performance contained; 6 Birdies and 34 Pars, finishing with a score of +9 over the three rounds. More success followed at the Thornbury Junior Open. Shooting 3-under-par meant that Edmund managed to finish top of the leaderboard.
Edmund has been recognised with selection for Gloucestershire U18s and accepted to join the England Boys South West Regional Squad, an outstanding achievement for any individual. His most recent success, at the beginning of April, saw a third-place finish in the Ashton Vase 36-hole men’s stroke play tournament at Long Ashton Golf Club.
