Magdalen College School, Oxford, is once again able to report strong GCSE results, with over 60% 9 (A*) grades, over 86% of grades at 9-8 (A*), and over 96% at 9-7 (A*-A) grades. 54 boys achieved straight 9 and 8 (A*) grades and 21 boys achieved straight 9 (A*) grades.
Master, Helen Pike, said: “There is a great sense of relief today at MCS as our pupils receive their GCSE results. These boys have shown great resilience and good cheer as they moved from GCSE revision to a series of electives. They have missed their summer sport and other activities most keenly, and we shall be offering some of those in the coming weeks when school reopens.
"We look forward to seeing all that these boys will achieve next, alongside the strong cohort of new pupils we are welcoming to MCS in September”.
