The Waynflete Office organises a varied programme of events every year. These include familiar favourites such as OW lunches and dinners, receptions in the US, the annual event for MCS benefactors, sports fixtures and more. We also have a programme of events for our wider MCS community to which current and former parents and staff are invited.Â

Commemoration Day
Saturday 6 July 2024
All OWs are invited to join us for this year’s Commem. The classes of 1999 and 1984 are warmly invited to join us to celebrate their 25th and 40th anniversaries since leaving MCS.
Open House is from 1.00pm and you’re very welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on School Field. There is a complimentary cream tea served from 2.30pm.
We also invite cricket and tennis players to participate in OW v MCS matches.

The OW Lunch

All OWs are warmly invited to attend this annual lunch at MCS. Welcome drinks are followed by lunch in the Dining Hall and an exhibition from the school archives. Invitations will be sent in Michaelmas Term.

All OWs are invited to our annual Christmas shindig at Vincent’s Club in the High Street. Invitations will be included in the Michaelmas Term OW newsletters and will be sent to all OWs in addition.
